March Against Monsanto
Join Roanoke citizens to raise awareness about GMO foods and the control of Monsanto on our foods. There will be a march on Grandin Rd. at 11 am. We will assemble for the march down Grandin Rd, starting at the Unitarian Universalist Church parking lot at the corner of Brandon Ave & Grandin Rd (2015 Grandin Rd) between 10:00-11:00am.
A “Celebration of Organic Food” Potluck Picnic will be held at Grandin Gardens (1731 Grandin Rd) following the march. If you would like to attend, please bring a covered organic dish to share—enough for about ten people.
